Tired of using citysearch, blackbook, etc. to check up on where to chill, drink, and get nice? Yeah me too. All of those sites fucking blow. The reason? Their reviews are written by nerds, tools and wannabe's. And we here at Fratombomb are taking a stand. Welcome to your solution. As the coolest guys we know, Ace and I have decided to start our own bar review collection.
It's not college anymore. You can't get by by posting up on the same stool in the same bar every night, content to run half-assed game, knowing that at 4 a.m one of your usual whores will be there to bail you out. This is the real world. You have to expand your boundaries and find new places to hang out in a new and often unfamiliar city. And now you don't have to go it alone. In fact you don't have to do shit except go to the places we say are legit.
I'm on a mission. Having just relocated to NY from depressingly bar-starved LA I'm going to do the world a favor. I'll be writing reviews for every bar I visit here in New York. Quiet nights, rowdy nights, big bars, small bars, it doesn't matter (the only thing you won't see are reviews for trendy one name clubs. In LA they had names like Villa, Opera, Hyde, Crimson, etc. etc. I don't know what they call them here. I don't give a fuck. I don't go to these places and neither should you). They'll all get reviewed and presented in a Fratombomb friendly manner.
The questions you really have about a bar will be answered. Did I get laid? Could I have gotten laid? How much were the drinks? Were they strong? Too many meat heads? Not enough girls? Not enough girls with low self-esteen? Were the troughs big enough to vomit in? All these answers and more! I know what makes a good night and my critical eye will spare nothing and no one. By the time I'm done, a comprehensive, bro friendly bar catalog will exist for all of our benefit. It all starts this weekend.
None of it is planned. I'm not going to map out in advance where I'm going nor who I go with. I feel that would be cheating the process. Wherever I end up is what I write the review for. You can thank me later.

its about time.
