News Flash: If your above the age of 4 years old, you have forfeited the right to plug your ears when a police, ambulance or firetruck siren passes by. That includes sticking fingers in your ear, placing the palms of your hands over your ear, and/or worst of all, flaring your elbows outward in the process.
