"OXFORD, Conn. -- If the interest in Sarah Palin’s eyeglasses is any indication, the Oxford company making her action figure will be inundated with requests.
HeroBuilders.com has made three action figures of the Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate.
The figures include the Sarah Palin action figure, complete with glasses, a suit and her hair pulled back in a bun. The Sarah Palin School Girl is a bit risqué. She dons a red bra and a short skirt. The Sarah Palin hero action figure looks like something from the movie the Matrix, with a long black coat opened to show a gun holster on the thigh.
The action figures range from $27.95 to $29.95.
While Palin has a pretty prominent spot on the HeroBuilders.com site, the Democratic party is also represented. The Beach Blanket Obama action figure portrays a bathing suit clad Sen. Barack Obama with some serious muscles. There is also a Barack Obama talking doll in a tuxedo.
Sen. John McCain’s action figure looks like it has been working out.
On the softer side, the company also sells an 8-inch plush Obamakin and a McCain plush.
The company started in February 2002 as hobby with a George W Bush action figure, according to the company’s Web site.
The company also sells On-Demand Toys, where you too can become an action figure."
