Okay, I submit. For months now, close friends - some, formerly cash money millionare enthusiasts - now have ipods overflowing with, what I consider to be, alternative bullsh*t. After a few beers though, melancholy over the current state of hip hop and rock, the mass advertisement of T-pain, Lil Wayne and "the remix" has led me to consider other options.

Now when I first heard the name Mgmt, which was quite recently, all I could think of was gloomy finance classes I cheated my way through. I know there's a bunch of people reading this who want to say "sorry Ace, that's so last Fall", but there's also a bunch of people I want to drown in a pool of their own smugness.
